Drive By

From the Temple series.
The architecture has been regurgitated from the layers of history previously available. A person has met with someone he thinks he can trust at a diner. Unfortunately his contact is assassinated by a passing slidewinder (a disposable vehicle) This is an environment that is constantly altering.
The Slidewinder is a magnetic vehicle, which runs on both sides of the road (top and underneath). The road itself is constantly shifting about,  twisting and reconnecting itself as required.
